Phil Loveridge, the Director and Principal Engineer of Pearl Marine Ltd. brings three decades of extensive experience in the marine industry. With a background in shipbuilding and mechanical production engineering, he has held key positions at some of the most respected companies in the field.

Phil’s expertise spans vessel machinery and system design, maritime project management, and regulatory compliance. He has been pivotal in delivering high-profile projects, from luxury yachts to specialized commercial and military vessels, ensuring that designs meet the highest safety, performance, and innovation standards.

His work has included everything from system schematics and detailed engineering packages to liaising with regulatory bodies and overseeing production engineering. In recent years, Phil has overseen various complex projects, project technical leadership, and planning.

Through Pearl Marine Ltd, Phil leverages his in-depth knowledge of marine systems and project management to offer consultancy services that guide clients through every stage of vessel design and construction. Known for his leadership and team-building skills, Phil also strongly emphasises mentorship and fosters a collaborative environment within his team.

Phil’s work isn’t limited to vessel construction. Phil has also provided guidance and leadership in a wide range of sectors related to the maritime industry, including large historical maritime civil engineering, flood defence, marine dwellings, and plenty more.
